About Me
There is a saying: “A solid day's work is a noble act.” It may be, but we can’t just keep trucking along, as we will get burned out. Work is not the only factor. Life sometimes feels like the movie Groundhog Day, where we continue juggling our routines, tasks, and to-do lists. Keeping this up will take a toll on our mental and physical health and spiritual well-being. In times like these, we have to take a break and refocus. Sure, we are grateful for our jobs, but we have to reboot our system for it all to work more effectively.
I want to share how I reduce burnout by taking time each day for something I love doing. Whether exercising and enjoying the outdoors, working on being more altruistic, or meditating and praying to enhance my spiritual life, we all have to reset sometimes. We need to breathe and relax. Have an attitude of gratitude, and always remember we are not alone. Family, friends, community, and faith in God - this is what keeps us alive.
